Sumcraft is a UK tax and pay calculator site. We build simple, accurate tools that help people understand their income, taxes, and deductions under the UK tax system.

Why we exist

UK tax rules are genuinely complex — multiple student loan plans, Scottish versus English bands, National Insurance thresholds, salary sacrifice implications, and dozens of special cases. Most existing tools either oversimplify or get the details wrong.

Every calculator on Sumcraft is built against the latest HMRC rates and thresholds. We cite sources, show our working, and update after every Budget.
